Our Shipping Coordinators are responsible for:  

  • Planning, communication, coordination and execution of shipments to customers.
  • Working safely and maintaining the highest level of quality standards.
  • Scheduling freight pickups and interacting with carriers to plan and resolve shipping related transactions.
  • Performing and verifying cycle counts on raw, WIP and finished goods inventory and packaging.
  • Locating product, pulling orders from inventory reports, and prioritizing daily shipping activities.
  • Working closely with production and customer service to ensure on time delivery.
  • Gathering information required for shipments (dimensions, packaging requirements, dates, shipping classifications, etc.).
  • Initiating and managing quotation process and confirming freight costs with internal and external customers.
  • Generating and distributing invoices, labels, BOLs, customer specific documentation, and preparing other paperwork needed to maintain compliance with customer requirements.
  • Leading freight claim resolutions and providing proactive communication to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Assisting with packaging, loading/unloading of product as required.
  • Ensuring work areas and equipment are properly maintained and orderly.
  • Working well in a team environment and contributing to other areas as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Detail oriented with strong communication skills and problem solving ability.
  • Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on‐time completion of assigned activities.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
