Calling all Warehouse Professionals! Multi-Color York is calling! Are you our next Shipping Coordinator?

Are you ready to become part of a fast-paced Warehouse Team demonstrating safe equipment handling practices with forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment? Are you tech savvy to enter data into an Inventory Software system? Do you like to work in a quality and safety-conscious production environment? Position Overview:

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead, this position coordinates shipments, consolidates products, organizes, loads, unloads trucks, serves as back-up for our delivery driver on occasion, delivers internal packages, performs cycle counts, receives product UPS, FedEx BOL’s, produces BOL’s as required. Clears floor of debris and any other task that Team Lead or Department Manager directs or delegates to coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform and verify cycle counts on raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory and packaging.
  • Deliver small packages to respective recipient.
  • Coordinate with pre-paid Logistics vendors
  • Perform data entry for shipment to vendor in computer.
  • Located product and pull daily orders from inventory from Radius (Shop floor software) report produced by Shipping Lead
  • Facilitate customer service requests as needed and ensure shipments are sent out on timely and accurate manner.
  • Prioritize daily shipping activities according to daily delivery report
  • Load truck; ship finished goods and materials as requested.
  • Ship domestic packages and freight
  • Use of forklift and power pallet jack on a daily basis.
  • Organize and combine products to create space.
  • Follow up on internal audit criteria (i.e. Forklift pre-inspections, trailer inspections, etc.).
  • Prepare internal paperwork for UPS, FedEx, etc.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or G.E.D.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License; must be able to drive a box truck for Multi-Color truck runs.
  • Fork Lift Certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak English unassisted
  • Professionalism- have a strong understanding of our Standards of Business Conduct and Code of Ethics.
  • Training/Tailgates-will be required at times to train and or administer tailgates with others within the warehouse department.
  • Math Ability- Basic to moderate math skills. Percentages, conversion of weights and measures – ability to use calculator
  • Physical Demands- ability to lift 15-50 lbs on daily basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Computer Skills-ability to produce UPS, Fed Ex BOL’s and BOL’s as required, use Radius as required.
  • Flexibility- Able to be flexible with hours when needed. Minimal request for overtime
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task; proactive, dependable and team player. Ability to motivate others.
