Position responsibilities:

  • Maintain safety as top priority and support safety committees and emergency response teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational and OSHA policies and procedures.
  • Conduct shift meetings and coach team performance to align with company culture along with plant goals related to safety, quality, customer service and cost objectives.
  • Participate in hiring process, conduct performance evaluations and devise development plans to support goals.
  • Manage payroll, time off requests, scheduling, training, development, and certification programs of maintenance personnel.
  • Issue assignments, audit finished results and provide honest feedback.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to maintenance team, including offering availability for phone calls and working off-shifts and weekends on occasion.
  • Assist in managing department CMMS system, including PM’s, PM audits, purchase and work orders, equipment, and the tracking and maintaining of spare parts inventories.
  • Represent the maintenance department during the assistance of capital projects.
  • Confer with management on the planning and recommendation of PM programs and continuous improvement activities to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
  • Execute strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of personnel.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
  • Ten years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in printing industry with familiarity of safety, quality, GMP and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to build trust with the Team by operating with Integrity, Passion, Perseverance, Achievement and Creativity.
  • CMMS experience regarding maintenance planning, tracking, and parts ordering.
  • Experience leading technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement process and TPM process.
  • Effective communication and presentation shills with demonstrated ability to facilitate change.
  • Time management, delegation, and organization skills.
  • Schedule flexibility with the ability to provide occasional on call coverage.
