Job Summary

To inspect, convert, and package job order press rolls into finished rolls and to prepare finished product for shipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Producing top quality labels for our amazing customers!

  • Operating a slitting machine, safely handling slitting blades, splice rolls, and produce finished labels in a productive and efficient manner.

  • Monitoring machine performance (registration, copy, color and other quality parameters) on a regular basis.

  • Viewing labels with assistance of a strobe light.

  • Communication, planning, and delivering on a quick change over as efficiently as possible.


  • Qualified candidates must be able to work day or night shift, 12 hour rotation, and weekends based on schedule assigned.
  • Be SAFE – Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.

  • Be DEPENDABLE – Regular and predictable attendance, overtime when required.

  • Be a TEAM PLAYER – Ability to assist others with machine set-up, run, and clean up.

  • Be CARING – Pay attention to the details; respect others, and communicate openly.

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.

  • Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship required.

Preferred Experience

  • 3+ years experience operating a machine. (Slitter, Rewinder, CNC Machine, brake press, drill press)
  • Experience in a printing environment a plus.

Physical and Mental Requirements

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: 

  • Wear hearing, foot, and eye protection
  • Continually stand for a prolonged period; moderately to frequently walk, stoop, bend, and kneel
  • Frequently use hands and finder to handle, feel, and grasp/clasp; use hands and arms to reach for items in the work area
  • Frequently vertically lift and/or horizontally move up to 50 pounds (20 pounds repetitively) 
  • Use hands and arms to push or pull up to 35 pounds 
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to distinguish color variations, and ability to adjust focus 
  • Medium to loud noise environment 
  • Work flexible/varying schedules and hours as needed, including working overtime as required by workload and customer-mandated deadlines
