Our Ink Technicians are responsible for:  

  • Managing the ink laboratory which includes ink planning, IGT color strips and ink samples; requires ability to read and follow directions and specifications.
  • Ordering inks and additives and working properly with hazardous materials required for operation.
  • Communicating closely with Production Administrators, guiding press approvals and providing advice on color management using a technical background.
  • Reporting departmental KPI’s to the head of production and with Belgium facility.
  • Providing a strict eye for detail and quality while demonstrating proficiency with weighing and measurements.

Job Requirements

  • Be a TEAM PLAYER - ability to assist others with machine set‐up, run, and clean up.
  • Be CARING - respect others and communicate openly.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; prefer educational background in graphics.
  • Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship required.
  • Prefer color management experience working in an ink room and in lithographic press operation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on‐time completion of assigned activities.
  • Willingness to work in a 2 or 3 shift system.
