Our Graphics Specialists II are responsible for:  

  • Using Adobe Illustrator to adjust/manipulate artwork and ensure it meets customer specifications in a print-friendly format. This is not a creative graphics design position, but a technical production role.
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail with an understanding of print processes, print production and color separation. Flexographic and offset print knowledge preferred.
  • Providing pre-production direction to assure prepress and printing accuracy and coordinating trials.  
  • Working within a set timeframe to make corrections to artwork and avoid disruptions to production schedules.
  • Ensuring proof quality and optimizing layout and color separation of jobs to maximize production efficiency.
  • Building relationships with plant personnel, customers, vendors, and sales/customer service teams.
  • Planning and engineering jobs for multiple printing processes, scheduling print tooling and prepress based on customer needs, and supporting a customer-centered culture at the plant.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; degree in graphics related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a prepress or artwork pre-production environment.
  • Technical knowledge of gravure, flexo, offset, rotary screen and digital printing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical information into actionable tasks.
  • Intimate knowledge in preparing artwork for high-volume printing.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe CS software and MS Office applications; Radius job management software experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on‐time completion of assigned activities.
