Overview:

First and foremost, our Press Operators are responsible for safely conducting themselves and their equipment in a Lean Six Sigma production environment. MCC takes pride in the continuous comments reflecting the cleanliness and organization of our production floor by customers and candidates alike. Our production teams are focused and have satisfaction in the quality of their work; safety is always first.

This is a technical and skilled position; candidates must have solid flexo printing experience to be considered. The ideal candidate is someone mechanically inclined with solid printing-environment experience, detail oriented, strong math skills, good attendance, and a desire to grow their career with us!

Job Requirements

You offer:

  • Positive attitude; self-motivated, team player and solution-focused.
  • Demonstrated experience in the setup, running and tear down of flexographic printing press operations.
  • Ability to work closely with Press Utility (Press Assistant) in the safe and efficient operation of flexographic presses
  • Ability to readily share operating best practices, operation knowledge and methods with Press Utility to allow the Utility to confidently run the press during daily short breaks and meals.
  • Experience with UV curing systems, hot stamp and cold foil units
  • Minimum five years’ printing experience with a minimum of three years running flexo presses
  • Press Experience with one or more of the following:
    • Webtron
    • Gallus
    • Arpeco
    • Arsoma
    • Mark Andy
    • Aquaflex
  • Demonstrated computer skills; ability to learn new software such as Radius Shop Floor data collection (SFDC).
  • Technical, Trade School, High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED
  • Solid attendance history, we are looking for punctual and dependable candidates.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, managing time, meeting deadlines and efficiently maintaining the proper functionality of the machine.
