Job Description

It is the responsibility of the Assistant Press Operator (APO) to assist with the printing labels on Preprinted Polypropylene (PP) material. The APO assists the crew in a productive manner while utilizing the required tools to ensure flawless feed and transport of pre-printed materials.

The APO assists with set-up, fine tuning and monitoring of various production parameters to achieve and maintain the highest print qualities.

In collaboration with the team the APO is responsible for the daily maintenance, cleaning of the press to ensure optimum performance and assist with ink lab mixtures and care of production printing plates.
