Job Description

  • Print, compile, save, and distribute daily reports needed for schedule creation/maintenance.
  • Update schedules and distribute/communicate as needed.
  • Open new orders, add appropriate comments, and identify gaps needed to fulfill orders correctly.
  • Monitor all order processing components in Radius to ensure all orders are correctly added to schedule.
  • Review plant floor vacation schedules and report any gaps primary schedulers in order to avoid missed commitment or excess backlog.
  • Monitor and maintain shipping list.
  • Work closely with related departments (Prepress, Customer Service, and Operations) to maintain a smooth flow of information and communication throughout the order fulfillment process.
  • Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems requirements.
  • Must follow applicable Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned to advance the mission of Multi-Color.
  • Assist with physical inventories as required.
  • Cover for vacations and absenteeism as required.
  • Willingness to learn across all areas of organization to better assist with long term planning or operations.


  • Minimum of High School degree or GED
  • Prior experience with production planning required. 
  • Intermediate skills with excel required. 
  • Prior experience with the following preferred: materials/scheduling/production/work flow.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various internal and external audiences in both person and various electronic media.
  • Ability to manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to use and a working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Project).
  • Ability to use Business Management Software.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and personal growth.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use and a working knowledge of office equipment (copiers, fax machines, scanners).
