Finishing Finishing Lead


 Job Summary:

To act as the Finishing Lead performing the following duties:

  • Leading, and supervising rotating finishing day shifts

  • Providing adequate training and direction where required that I
    consistently applied across the day shifts

  • Ensuring Compliance with all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensure consistency of operating procedures and best practices on the
    rotating day shifts.

  • Leading by example to instill into all finishers the urgency of
    delivering a quality product on time with zero defects to our customer’s

  • Constantly monitoring machine performance (registration, copy, color
    and other quality parameters).

Additional Responsibilities:

          To perform as and when required due to business needs:

    Run  a finishing machine.

  • Make boxes, label boxes with identification
         and sample label, and polybag all boxes as specified by the customer
  • Cut cores for production order according to
         order specifications.

  • Make sure following shift is left with appropriate

  • Clean area around equipment at the end of

  • Reasonable amount of overtime



  • Dexterity and preciseness required to
    operate equipment.

  • High school or technical school
    education, or equivalent, with mathematics emphasis.

  • Considerable mental and visual effort.

  • Job involves lifting 30 – 40 pounds
    throughout the shift.

  • Job involves standing most of the

  • Knowledge of Production Procedures
