Responsible for operating all equipment and machines in both Cylinder Prep areas required
to process a cylinder from start to finish. Position is responsible for following all Safety regulations and policies, as well as any Quality standards in the department and the company.


  1. Operating Engraving machines.

  2. Operating Polishmasters

  3. Operating all Copper Plating tanks.

  4. Operating all Chrome Plating tanks.

  5. Operating all Chrome polishing machines.

  6. Operating Dechrome and cleanup tanks

  7. Operating Proof Presses.

  8. Use any related tools to perform machine operations.

  9. Operating all over head crane systems in the department and cylinder storage areas.

  10. Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems requirements.

  11. Must follow applicable Food Safety related policies and procedures.

  12. Other duties as assigned to advance the mission of Multi-Color Corporation.


    1. Upkeep of the chemical solutions in all plating tanks. 

    2. Perform minor maintenance tasks on all machines.

    3. Hand polishing cylinders in copper as needed.

    4. Maintain housekeeping score at 9 or above as described and scored by the Safety and housekeeping Team.

    5. Input data into the IQA database.


Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required. 
Prior experience with machining, lathes, milling, refinery, prepress, and/or experience with cooper and chrome baths required. 
Must be willing and able to work 3rd shift Sun-Thursday 10pm -6am, subject to change.
Must be willing and able to lift-up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation
Ability to effectively communicate to various internal and external audiences in both person and various electronic media.
Ability to manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
Willing to work overtime as scheduled based on company needs.
Ability to work with internal and external individuals, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
Highly organized, detail oriented.
Enthusiasm for learning and personal growth.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use and a working knowledge of office equipment (copiers, fax machines, scanners).
Ability to use and a working knowledge of the IQA System.
