Summary of Role

 As part of the Wine and Spirits arm of Multi-Color Corporation, we continue to lead the printing industry through a commitment to World's Best Premium Wine and Spirit Label Solutions. Located in premium wine producing regions around the world, MCC proudly supports the global Wine and Spirits industries. We are currently seeking an Apprentice Level Maintenance Technician for our Napa Plant.


Apprentice Level Maintenance Technician



      •         Assisting Maintenance Department with routine preventative maintenance and service for machinery equipment.


      •         Support Maintenance Technicians with repairing, installing, adjusting or maintaining machines.


      •         Fabricates, assembles, and tests parts as needed, such as various pumps, valves, and other mechanical system parts using metal fabricating tools, common hand tools, power tools, and welding.


      •         Complete repairs and part replacement.


      •         Replaces/Cleans air filters and equipment lubrication.


      •         Performs other related duties as assigned.





Required Experience, Desired Skills & Qualifications:



       Mechanically inclined and/or experience.


       Must be able to stand, walk and lift/move heavy objects for an extended amount of time.


       Able to work well under pressure.


       On the job training available for the right individual interested in growing in the manufacturing maintenance industry.

  • Work cooperatively in a team environment.

  •   Ability to lift 40-50lbs.

  •   Ability to work efficiently and effectively in either a team or individual basis.

  •   Problem solving experience.

  •   High speed manufacturing experience.

  •   Continuous Improvement experience in Manufacturing Environment.



While preforming the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to:

•        Wear hearing, foot, eye and/or other personal protective equipment while in a manufacturing setting

•        Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance

•        Use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or clasp; reach with hands and arms; occasionally work  in close quarters

•        Vertically lift or horizontally transfer objects up to 50 pounds

•        Vision abilities include – close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish color variations, and ability to adjust focus

•        Medium to loud noise environment

•        Work flexible/varying schedules and hours as needed

•        Work overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines

       High school diploma/GED required. Successful completion of a trade or vocational school program.
